We collect the information you give us, and a small amount of technical information about how you use this website.

• Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about your home and your current insurance coverage. You give us this through our quote form, by email, or on the phone.
• Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, and which pages you visited. This comes from cookies and similar technology.
• Consent records: if you check a box to receive text messages, we record that you did, when you did, and the exact wording that was shown to you at the time.

• To respond to your request and prepare an insurance quote.
• To place and service insurance coverage on your behalf with the carriers you ask us to approach.
• To contact you about your quote and your policy, by phone, email, and, if you have separately opted in, by text message.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website.
• To meet our obligations under Florida insurance law and other applicable law.

Text messaging is optional and always has been. The two consent checkboxes on our quote form start unchecked, you are never required to check either one, and your quote request is processed exactly the same way if you leave both alone.

If you do opt in, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.

In plain terms: the phone number you give us for text messaging is used by Allied Insurance Group South, Corp to talk to you, and by the messaging vendor that physically delivers our texts. It does not go anywhere else, and nobody gets to market to you with it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it. We do not give your personal information to anyone for their own marketing.

Your information reaches only these places:

• The insurance carriers we approach on your behalf, so they can quote and issue your coverage. This is the point of the exercise, and it only happens for the coverage you asked us about.
• Service providers who run our systems under contract, such as our customer relationship software and our messaging vendor. They are bound to use your information only to provide that service to us, and for nothing else.
• Where the law requires it, such as a lawful request from a regulator or a court.

The mobile-information rule stated above is stricter than this section and takes precedence over it for any phone number collected for text messaging.

We use cookies to make the site work and to understand which pages people use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as insurance and tax law requires us to, whichever is longer. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

• You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly.
